Love it moggers! I have control when it comes to sweets - can keep chocolate in the fridge for ages, drives my friend insane. I intend to make it and keep as a reward for the grand children and me.
It's the savory foods that I have problems resisting.

I don't seem to have control of anything at the moment and its the Manchester FMUK Christmas meal tonight so can't even pretend that I am being good :shifty: I will be able to fit in some exercise this weekend so it may help a tad but with all this eating out I would have to do some serious workouts to counterbalance the calories :noo:

Hello fellow WW FMUKers!

I feel like I've been very quiet on here for quite some time now and for that, I apologise!

Progress has been seriously hampered by changes in my working life and a chest infection which seemed to floor me for a ridiculous amount of time!

On a positive note, I haven't gained any weight but will be nowhere near my goals set at the beginning of the year. However, I'm a whole lot closer to them than I was in January!

I hope everyone is well and has a lovely festive period lined up ahead of them.

Welcome back John Milton and sorry to hear that you have been unwell. Well done on maintaining your weight that is brilliant and as you've been poorly and changing work it is difficult to fit in exercise.

I have no idea why I have the audacity to come on here when I am on my 5th Christmas meal of the week tonight   I have tried to be fairly good in my choices and have had loads of greenery even eating Steve's sprouts (shame on him not eating his greens :nono:) with my mushroom tart (I can't even pretend that I have been very good as the Manchester FMUKers did witness my spot of gluttony yet again the other night :shifty: ) and at least tonight it will be dancing all night so I'll burn off some of the calories that I eat. If I don't stop eating so much and start moving a lot more I will be wearing a smock dress rather than a shift dress next Christmas 8O

Where is everyone else?

Thanks, Diane! Sounds like you're having a great time! Surely that's the point in being reasonably disciplined most of the time though; so you can enjoy yourself when it counts!

Trying to be reasonably good over Christmas and will geot back on track in January. Hopefully weather permitting we'll get some alright weather so can do some walks *cough*

Welcome back Moggers and so pleased that you have truly had a holiday. I am too embarrassed to get on the scales as I know that John Milton said it was good to enjoy myself but my 2 vertical lines going up my abdomen has been replaced by 2 deep horizontal lines going across it (ie a roll of fat in place of some muscle definition). It is impossible to maintain my weight when going out for as many meals as I have. As I'm going away 10 weeks today why on earth am I sat here with a glass of Baileys (I have one bottle of Baileys at Christmas and no other alcohol throughout the year) and a box of after 8 mints watching Christmas films

I have some serious workouts to do in the new year plus stop stuffing my face.

Enjoy your time off work Moggers o/ I have the all the bank holidays off plus finishing at lunchtime on Christmas Eve so quite a cushy week :D

Oh dear, reading Diane65's remark about Bailey's makes me wistful - and causes me to wish I could sign my OH up to this thread. Not only has he an incipient paunch he needs to lose but he had the cheek to have a Bailey's hot chocolate at the South Bank Xmas Market on Thursday. Well, I did try to dissuade him from visiting the market.... and anyway, I thought Bailey's was a girly drink!

Hi, Just a flying visit in between bouts of serious festive gorging to wish all my old weight watcher buddies...

A Very Merry Christmas!

I notice from reading back through a few posts that at least a few of you seem to be struggling with your diets at the moment ;) . That's No Problem - It's Christmas - You're only human - Just Relax!!

Think of it this way, the more weight that you put on now, the more that you'll have to go at when you restart those diets and exercise regimes once again in the New Year. So I am sure that you'll agree it can only be a good thing :shifty:

I have penciled in January 2nd as my own personal date to restart being good - hope to see some of you back on these pages then for yet another bout of fun-filled weight-loss shenanigans.

Until then.......here's a little festive "Spot The Difference Competition" to keep you all entertained. There are 12 differences between the pictures - see if you can spot them all! :shifty:
