I absolutely hate on the first movie, simply because I deplore when people pretend to tell jokes when they aren't telling jokes. don't shortchange me, buster. Looking at Ferrell, needlesstosay, a guy who tries to pretend to be a comedian.

However this sequel does have a hint of the surreal about it that might make it worth a watch.

I'm not the biggest fan of the original (for me it's no more than a 7/10 movie) but I absolutely loved the sequel, everything just clicked this time around and I thought the cameos towards the end made this film into something really rather special.

It wasn't perfect, but as it was pretty damn close it more than deserves a 9/10 from me o/ ...

pretty good fun, even if theres a fair share of dirge that doesnt work, theres plenty enough that does.

To sum up, a torrential 2 hour 20 minute tirade of relentless randomness. Didnt mind that I'd pa*d for it.

Went to see the 'Continued' version at the weekend and really enjoyed it, although the storyline & structure hadn't really changed there was enough new material jokes wise to make seeing this a worthwhile experience.

Admittedly the strike rate is higher in the original theatrical release but it still did more than enough to get an 8/10 from me...
