I was in London all day and came home to the shocking discovery that OH had made a cake! Is nothing sacred? He had already long since taken over most of the cooking; making cakes was about the one culinary corner I thought I had preserved for myself. Now I feel totally redundant.... though he may, of course, require help with eating his efforts.

Fine with me, pxc - and he claims also to enjoy ironing! But in return I require that someone lend me a chap who tidies up as he goes round the house, rather than creating (and then abandoning) a mess everywhere he goes. No wonder I have no time to make cakes, what with all the clearing up.

Can anyone tell me whether BBC1 has a +1 Channel? I can't find it anywhere!

That's what I thought too, but husband says it does but you have to search deep for it . I don't think there is one.
