And he wasn't the only Will there.
Me too, ever since Son of Rambo, he looked like something special. They didnt mention Voyage of the Dawn Treader amongst the list of films (which I find peculiar, as I thought he would have made a more international mark in that movie) but he totally elevated that film's entertainment value ten-fold. He was memorable in Wild Bill too. Yeah well deserved and his speech was quite humorous, particularly when he nearly dug himself a hole in nearly forgetting the names of his fellow nominees!
Didn't see them mention him in School of Comedy either.

Not at all, Mr. Glass.
It was a TV sketch show on Channel 4 a couple of yeras ago with adult jokes but all played by teenagers. That was one of the catch-phrases involving some South African security guards.
Son of Rambow was a great film.

How do you expect to be taken seriously BAFTA when you ignore the film Dallas Buyers Club and the outstanding performances of Matthew McConaughey and Jered Leto ? Let us hope they both take Oscars on 2nd March, and you will see how foolish you were to ignore the film.

Haha. He also corrected someone's "who I worked with" to "with whom I worked". That was also funny, if ever so slightly annoying.

Beate wrote:Very pleased for Will Poulter. He was definitely the right choice.
Stephen Fry cracked me up. One of the winners for Adapted Screenplay or whatever it was made a grammatical error in his speech and I was actually shouting at the telly "It's Paul and ME! Not Paul and I! You write for a living, you ought to know that!" and a minute later Stephen Fry corrected precisely that. Nearly fell over laughing. Funnily enough, if I'd been the one correcting someone live on telly, people might not have been so good-humoured about it, but he can get away with murder.
I also liked when Stephen Fry dropped a subtle hint about thanking the teapot and the kettle...you dont have to thank everyone, lol.
I was taught to say/write "[name] and I" not "[name] and me" so have I been taught wrong all this time?!

Beate wrote:Depends on the context. "MrG and I like going to the cinema" is correct. "He told Mr G and I that he likes going to the cinema" - not correct. Basically if you can take out the "Mr G and" and the sentence still makes sense, it is correct. "He told I" will never be correct.
I think what you are referring to is "Me and MrG" instead of the polite "MrG and I". It is correct that this is incorrect as well.
Isn't it 'Me and Bobby McGee?'

preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

We need "like" buttons on this forum :) That made a lot of sense. Kris Kristofferson needs your service (right Valda?)
