THE SHOWFILMFIRST EARLY ALERTS SERVICE
Re: THE SHOWFILMFIRST EARLY ALERTS SERVICE
Of course they hate the free sites, it destroys their business model. If everyone here emailed them and said they were planning on bypassing their service they'd probably just start offering more and more tickets to sites that required a pa*d subscription... oh

Yer I worry about them coming up with a new way of blocking us getting codes!D-Fens wrote:Of course they hate the free sites, it destroys their business model. They have already introduced methods to do just that.99h13 wrote:Yer I worry about them coming up with a new way of blocking us getting codes!D-Fens wrote:Of course they hate the free sites, it destroys their business model. Re: THE SHOWFILMFIRST EARLY ALERTS SERVICE
But do they really mind that people post codes? If they did, they'd easily just go invited guest list all the time
They're job is to get the cinema full, and what better way to do that than let people spread the code for you?
If the promotion company wants a specific audience type, then they'll just use their 'invited guest list' option...

You've obviously never read the SFF FAQ's/mobilephone wrote:But do they really mind that people post codes? If they did, they'd easily just go invited guest list all the time

Why do people post codes on the Internet
This is really unfair and we (and most of the database) struggle to understand why people do this. You post the code anonymously, and stop other people getting tickets, for the sake of giving them to strangers who won’t even thank you?! If we do trace people doing this we will take them off the database, and we appreciate help from other members in tracking down these people – it’s pointless, and stops you getting tickets! However, you will usually find that by the time third parties get a code and put it on the internet, all tickets have been allocated to our members!

Re: THE SHOWFILMFIRST EARLY ALERTS SERVICE
Their rant makes absolutely no sense. Surely if I am able to get tickets I AM a member and they ought to give all members the same chance of getting tickets. They cull people now and then anyway for no apparent reason - it takes 2 seconds to register again.

Disney have the right idea but they are also open to faking I guess.
