About the show:
In a grand gothic church, a double-bill screening of two of the most affecting ghost tales on film of recent years: The Others starring Nicole Kidman, and gothic frightener The Orphanage, produced by Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth). The event will also include the UK premiere of short film Broken Night by Mexican director Guillermo Arriaga (Amores Perros, 21 Grams, Babel).
The mood of sinister magical realism will be further enhanced by spooky organ music by The Hellset Orchestra’s Michael Wetheburn, and Sounds & Colours guest DJs will fill St John’s Church with other-world sounds, in a night where it will be hard to distinguish the real from the imaginary...
