It's that long since I applied, I can't even remember the details now.
Thanks
I will pm you them. They did say that anyone successful will be emailed on the 4th which has been and gone
Can someone post the T&C's for the Odeon tickets on here for all to see as I dont remember it being an "if successful" more of a "you will receive them within 28 days" for once I didnt save the T&C's

It was a definite "You WILL receive them in 28 days". This appeared after you applied and it then asked for you to input your name and address for postage of vouchers/tickets. I remember wondering about the wording at the time, thinking did it mean WITHIN 28 days or AFTER 28 days. Never once did I think: "You MIGHT receive these".
At least we know that this is not merely a personal glitch nor that they are lost in the post as we are all in the same boat.

I've never had any doubt that we are all in the same boat. . . .what I'd like to know is whether anyone anywhere has received these Odeon tickets!
In my tweets, Sun perks tried to tell me it was 2 for 1 . . .until I sent them a link!
I had a similar situation with Sky's customer service who told me yesterday that Sky don't do cinema previews! I had to show them where they were . . .I'm now getting 2 free tickets in compensation for friend's son who wasn't allowed in to Captain America as wrong name on ticket!

Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston
Films already booked for:
Hope to get tickets for: Every film if they come to my preferred cinemas

I don't recall the "28 days" thing tbh. I wish I had bothered to take a screenshot when I ordered mine.

Of course you didn't bother, The Sparrow, you just assumed that they would honour what they had promised. Lesson learned when dealing with The Sun.

They will probably find a way of shifting the blame too. It's not their fault that the nasty people actually wanted their silly cinema tickets!

Nor the store vouchers - which let's face it seemed a bit too good to be true - free £5 or £10 voucher for nothing? This is a giant con and needs to be exposed. Anne Robinson - where are you? Watchdog? Rogue Traders? Should have smelled a rat as soon as I saw that final page stating that your order will be posted in 28 days, but no email confirmation. I don't think they had any intention of honouring the deal.

I wonder how Odeon feel about this? I bet they won't want to be associated with a scam.

Update from on MSE on the thread I started yesterday by Poochface from a Live Chat today, Poochface also tweeted Martin Lewis, the Sun and the Odeon on this matter.
"Transcript from my Live Chat today.
Company We have just received the from the odeon and are currently starting to post them out.
Me Do you have an idea how much longer I and others will have to wait please?
Company I have no idea, I have been informed they are in stock and will be sent shortly - that is all the information we have been given to date.
Me Thank you. Maybe you would like to feedback to your bosses, that people are extremely unhappy about this as it is looking like a huge scam.
Company Things do happen from time to time with delays, which is why the delivery dates are not guaranteed, the staff are also awaiting theirs here too, there is no scam just bad delivery service for which I humbly apologize for on behalf of the Sun.
Me Many thanks, In all honesty, people have been told so many different things, it is hard not to think this is a scam. You have been the first person I have dealt with who has even apologised and I thank you for that.
So let's see how much longer we have to wait!"

Let's hope Odeon don't go out of business before we get the flipping vouchers!
