Was this sponsored by Twitter or something? I know it's everywhere these days and I am on it myself, and yes, the film showed modern life and how you can promote your business using social networking sites, but it still felt excessive.

Furthermore, this was unfunny as hell. I kept waiting for the laughs to come but they didn't come. Lots of good actors got sort of cameo roles which wasted their talents, and Jon Favreau isn't the kind of guy I think that Mexican models and Scarlett Johansson would be interested in. It was an incredibly predictable story, and furthermore it made me so hungry that we pigged out on a takeaway afterwards. That's the diet down the pan.

Fail. 5/10

P.S. Had to kick the seat of the woman in front twice because she kept talking loudly. Cow.

The first post on here said "cinematic comfort food" and that sums it up for me.

Not particularly funny or dramatic, but pleasant to watch and quite touching at times.

I guess there was too much twitter, but surely that's better than those fake search engines and websites you see in other movies.

Agree so much with yogi's comment . . . except the cookbook!
The film was pleasant way to spend a Thursday evening . . . nice wee film which could easily have been sponsored by Twitter . . . and best of all it was FREE! I'm not sure how I'd feel about the film if I'd pa*d £9 to see it . . .
