Many many thanks to akh43 for reminding me that Season 4 of Scandal has started. I can't believe I forgot.

I see Channel 4 is advertising Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Anyone know when that is coming back?

Re: TV Series: Discuss, Review, Anticipate, and Wotnot
In The Club - terrific show, does a great job of entwining the various parents at a birthing club. Not an awful lot of depth to each of the characters but it can be forgiven seeing as it covers so many so evenly intertwined. Minor fault - thought it was odd the way the Asian couple were the resident tweedledum n tweedledee getting into every mess under the sun. A little against type.
The Village - better than the first season, more action packed lol. But I like this version better, not sure what the criticism is about being 'Lefty' what do critics expect of a show that focuses on the lowly villagers - who seriously expects them to be loveydovey with the gentry, or expects the landowners to be devout philanthropists? Theres a fresh quiet airy feel to the village this season and the fluffy music depicting the Dales feels a bit false, giving you the impression you are on holiday there rather than eeking out a hardy existence on a farm. But its a better on the eyes - 60 minutes of misery each week in season 1 didn't endear one to the show.
Yet herein lies the problem - its gritty realism is what made The Village different - and without it, the show is in danger of becoming just another period drama rather than the premium tv tag it aspires to.

Gotham - the excitement over the highly anticipated idea of the show was quickly sucked out of me by the overall boring performance in my opinion, never really hitting any of the right spots in the first episode... a disappointing start to a show that should be so much better given the societal status of Batman as a whole. Some shred of hope was saved from the wreckage by a very good performance by Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin, accentuated by the mud pile surrounding him however.

Cuckoo season 2 was pretty good, considering how offputting season 1 was (Samberg guy). BUt taylor watsit is a big improvement, largely due to willingness to play the fool.

Watched the pilot episode of The Flash last night. Easy viewing and looks promising.

Intruders , all the episodes in one day. awesome viewing apart from when it gets lost in one of Simm's characters' rage vents. A spine chilling kids performance too!
