Film Review Show on Internet TV
Film Review Show on Internet TV
Hi guys, I just wanted to introduce myself, obssessed film buff with a unique opportunity to put together a TV film review show.
As a general question, what would you the film buffs like to see in an hour long film show?
Thanks
Simon

Re: Film Review Show on Internet TV
This is a genuine post, with the backing of a television company, I am setting up a film review programme which will discuss new releases, upcomign films, past reviews, spotlight items
What would you like to see on such a show, maybe something a little different from Film 2010?

Re: Film Review Show on Internet TV
Have you anything specific that you would like to do? Have you a decent budget? And how original are you hoping to be?
Re: Film Review Show on Internet TV
Well I have the backing of a TV network, so at present just asking the film public what they would like to see.
The budget would require the assistance of sponsorship but these are available at amazing value to the company/business wanting to have their name involved.
I would like to obviously review all the current film releases, a look ahead to those coming up, a spotlight on maybe a classic movie, perhaps a competition feature, a day in the life off.
The show is likely to be called FilmFest Reviews.
So any ideas, or anyone who may like or know of any potential sponsors please step forward

We're not educated in the TV business to know what will attract us to watch your show, thats for you to use your imagination/originality and surprise us! You are basically asking us to brainwave ideas for you? I dont mind, why not, at least you taking an initiative to take advantage of the these free tools on the internet ie., such as the forumssimon0169 wrote:Well I have the backing of a TV network, so at present just asking the film public what they would like to see.

I use to watch every film show I coould find on terrestial TV. There was Videoview (with a classy sexy Mariella Fostrup and a then unknown Lily Savage) - that film show engaged me because of Fostrup's sexy voice and her intelligent reviews together with usual film reports and funny reviews from Lily Savage. Then there was the Jonny Vaughan series, cant remember what that was called but it was funny, zany much akin to the gadget show/Top Gear dynamic. So if you're looking for longevity, its that type of energetic format that would attract larger audience in my view. There was another show, it was so dull and boring despite covering so many films and didnt last long. It was hosted by Tony Slattery (very dull person who thought he was funny). So basically, its not so much the content (although, thats important of course) but how you present it to keep us attracted. Humour goes a long way. Gadget SHow is my favourite tv program purely because of the vibrant personalities including a classy sexy female. Culture show was another of my favourite programs, though bizarelly they changed it from a jazzy presentation to an incredibly dull format (and had a classy sexy female host who suddenly dissapeared too) so I stopped watching it now.
Of course you have limited budget, and its probably just yourself hosting, so do you have an engaging and dynamic personality to engage us? If not, just have a classy sexy female hosting it and I'll watch it

I dont suppose I am overusing the term classy sexy female, am I?

As long as it's a more detailed approach to the subject than what's on offer (which is hardly anyway) on TV, something that's entertaining and interesting, informative and educational, enlightening too, and of course, enjoyable for the duration, that'll be something I'd take time out to watch happily.
