Re: Football
I finished the Fantasy League in 9th - could have been worse as some of my choices throughout the season didn't pan out but that's football for you. Well done to everyone who took part. I bow down to the superior managerial expertise of Phunky.
Are we all doing it again next season?
Still plenty of football this summer so I will say good luck to Fulham on Wednesday (West London are certainly proving their worth this season) and I think it will be a win for Spain in the World Cup. I will support England throughout but I think the Spanards are gonna be lifting that trophy at the end!

Re: Football
I hope so, I found it a lot of fun, and it meant nearly every PL game had some interest to me.destresserai wrote:Are we all doing it again next season?
Yeah, I'd say! Very nearly overtook me in that last round; I enjoyed our tight race between 2nd, 3rd and 4th...phatz wrote:Well done Emma!! - Got 3rd place myself. Better than i expected. Finished off with a good team too. :)

Re: Football
A few friends went out to Hamburg - they said the atmosphere was amazing. Shame the way they lost it - football can be so cruel at times - with only four minutes to go I was hoping for penalties because then it is just luck!

Don't worry - Athletico may think they've won, but word is Fulham and Liverpool will form a coalition...butterfly wrote:they were unlucky i think all UK was supporting them lastnight
