I had a stressful day! Had at least 6 things not going the way they should but also had about 3 invites to VIP evenings etc. - great if I haven't succumbed to the stress by then!

Can I kindly request that people don't send others unfriendly PM's about what they might be doing wrong on the forum, like chatting on Free Films? That's not the spirit of this board, and if I find that someone needs a PM about something, I will do it myself as the Global Moderator. Thank you.

Forum Rule 7. Respect your fellow members. This is a friendly forum and we'd like to keep it that way.

If you are talking about me, I only sent hdaniel82 a pm quoting your words

Apparently if you are friends with The Global Moderator, like hdaniel82, then you are exempt from this rule.

How are newbies supposed to follow the rules, when there is one rule for one and one for the other.

I am not sure what your beef is but it is not your or anyone else's job to send PM's to others quoting me. I am the Global Moderator, I can speak for myself, thank you. A message from myself to everyone on the board reminding them of the rules is different to sending individual PM's, I am sure you can appreciate that.

I sure can appreciate that and I have no beef with anything.
I was just trying to alert hdaniel82 that by posting on free threads that tickets are available sends out alerts to people who subscribe to that thread and some people like myself get charged when alerts come through to their mobile phones.

Perhaps there should be something in the forum rules about this. Otherwise I think it's not a totally unreasonable thing to do - especially for a new person to the forum who seems to be just trying to follow the rules. It's not as though Helen criticised someone publicly - it was a personal message to the person concerned.
