Looks like I was the only one that bothered to see this tonight.
Overheard usher saying that until 6:05 there had only been one person there!

I have to admit to being surprised at how enjoyable this was. I was really expecting yet another De Niro film along the lines of his last half a dozen or so bland uncomedies where he pulls the same expressions and delivers lines that could have been phoned in that have been so painful to watch. Can he not find a gritty serious drama role any more?
This was a very easy to watch pleasant film which did not outstay its welcome and retained interest throughout. Not a Y-front splitting laugh out loud comedy though, and no high drama either. A slightly disappointing end where it seems to fizzle out after a whole 2 hours of preamble.

I had low expectations, I'm not a fan of the film's of Nancy Meyers (The Holiday being particularly awful), but found this quite charming and enjoyable.

I liked both leads and thought they had a good chemistry and even enjoyed the silly Oceans 11 sequence.

I would have said this is Nancy Meyers' best film until I googled her and saw that she co wrote Private Benjamin, so I'll just say it's her best for quite some time 7.5/10

I really enjoyed this. It is definitely a feel good movie. I loved the way they show how modern technology drives certain businesses, together with the generation gaps. Also, the concept of a senior intern was very interesting. If only everyone loved their job and were as happy as all the staff that worked there! 8/10

Edinburgh Omni was packed.
It was a Times screening so mostly silver surfer crowd who, despairingly for me, get there about 5.30.
A couple of young guys walking out said it was the biggest like of .....
However, they were in the minority.
I liked this, it was fun, the characters gelled well and it was entertaining.
I agree that it fizzled out like a damp squib and the ending really was pretty unsatisfactory.
A good comedy though.
6.5/10 from me. Nice to see something more lighthearted this week!!

I enjoyed the Intern! Was nice to see a film about friends, rather than romance and interesting idea to tackle the idea of an affair not being the end of life as we know it. Agree the ending was weak but hey.

Made me laugh when she was going on about being buried alone. Good to know I'm not the only person who skips ahead and thinks way too far in advance

Braehead was incredibly less than half full for The Intern screening from the Sun.
I had no big expectations of the film and was pleasantly surprised. It was entertaining in a gentle way and great to see that they 2 main characters remain as good friends even while on a double bed!
Sadly I hated the last 10 minutes as it then seemed to not know how to end the story and went for a stupid end. Regardless of the ending, a reasonable night's viewing.

Watched this movie last night at Odeon Greenwich. I have to say that Robert de Niro and Anne Hathaway paired up do marvels to the film. Its a entertaining film with a wonderful script that is at times sad and funny. I thoroughly enjoyed the film although the ending was abrupt.

Saw this last night @ westerhailes. I thought it was OK, funny in parts. But what was all that about ' keep blinking & talk fast'..........really? Robert De Niro was really good in this 6/10
