Awww, poor Scotland - such a great fight only to have victory taken away in the last 50 seconds.

not a rugger fan but its been nice having it in this country, though mostly in... Twickenham lol...just 2 regrets, not seeing the Newham fanzone which closed prematurely so I couldn't visit it grrr, and not planning ahead to visit Cardiff on a game day.

My brother and family made it to the fanzove in cardiff and said it was brilliant. Things for everyone, some ex Welsh players there signing things, great atmosphere. Cardiff did the world cup proud.

Re: Rugby World Cup
You know, it should really have been based in Wales since its the national sport there, rather than simply being the posh sport over here, I honestly couldn't summon the enthusiasm to cheer on our "public school boys" at all. I'd have had no problem having a few outings to Wales for the better atmosphere and even watch a full match there. Perhaps we can learn from this for the future to avoid yet another embarrassment for English sport (well the men's teams anyway).baty wrote:My brother and family made it to the fanzove in cardiff and said it was brilliant. I have no idea why London's Newham fanzone closed earlier than advertised, I was stoked to visit - perhaps it closed because of Englands early exit? bad sportsmanship if it was.
