That's why I think folk are going to be disappointed as the trailer definitely suggests a comedy film and it's not. As scootermcc says, it is a family drama with some funny bits. They are misleading folk!

I didn't find it funny at all. It seemed to be a film that really couldn't decide what it wanted to be -- comedy/family drama/feel good Xmas film-- it was a mess.

I went with the anticipation of leaving feeling really Christmassy and looking forward to all the festivities. Instead I was left a little bored and a bit humbug than Santa.

I would have thought with the cast there would have been plenty of chortles but it was more depressing.

Still its had it's plus points...... Family Christmas at ours definitely has to be an improvement on this.

6/10 and thank goodness I didn't p*y.

Utterly predictable, cheesy etc. etc. However, I found it entertaining and unpretentious; it set out to deliver a Christmas message and succeeded, 7/10
