excellent, perfect sunday morning film or to begin the week with. Well written new songs also. Even realistic, apart from maybe the feepaying boy adapted to rough school and did his own thing a bit too easily (and the overblown end scene was totally crazy too but in the right way).

The kid who could play all the instruments reminded me of the Edge from u2.

4 stars.

David wrote:This is the best film I've seen this year. It had absolutely everything. Great music, terrific performances, a wonderful coming of age story. The relationship between the brothers was particularly striking. The perfect mix of happy-sad! 5/5 from me.

My sentiments EXACTLY

Saw the film in Derby Sunday morning. At times it looked more like a home movie, but this did not spoil the enjoyment. I left the cinema feeling happy: the story was cheerful and the music good.

It's really nice film: funny and charming, with good story and music. Complately different than Hollywood's stories. I was enjoyed.
