Good idea! Was thinking to stay 3 days, 2 nights from Friday to Sunday so, I'm all in for that.

There are several parks, which one you reckon on? Leeds had the first Parkrun outside London in Woodhouse Moor, maybe that would have the bigger attendance and seems a nice setting.

Do you have a VR headset? If so, maybe we can play a physical sports game or even be sports/fitness partners, hit me up if you keen.

I was thinking Woodhouse Moor too because that one seems closest to Leeds proper - should have time to do a parkrun, freshen up and toddle over to wherever FMUKCON is. It starts at 12, so bags of time.

Oh god... Are you actually up for this? I was only half-serious. I'm going to have to go now, aren't I? :p

Come with us. ;) As we parkrunners say, "it's a run, not a race."

How long are you staying for? I'm thinking about coming down late on the Friday, running on the Saturday and going home on the Sunday.

I am just coming for the day as only 50 minutes on the train.
The cheap fares from London will be released any day now as the 1st April ones for £15.50 each way from Kings Cross were released on Thursday so keep your eyes peeled. I arrive just after 9 and leave just before 7pm.
I should post this on the other thread
I need to get slim before we meet up again. Its a good incentive.

Ooh I didn't realise fmukcon was coming up again :)

I'm not doing too well with watching the weight at the mo...currently having an unhealthy late night snack!! Have an important appointment on Thursday that I'm nervous for, so I blame that! Back to dieting from Friday I think! (& trying to get earlier nights!).

LOL...no backing away now! But not to put too much pressure on what should be a fun day, we can make it optional if others have some group plans in the morning that we shouldnt miss out on...otherwise, we do the parkrun!

Lets invite others on the main fmukcon thread.
