little plot and precious little acting, and one of the most beyond cringeyworthy lines ever (and actually quite evil in the real sense, could have literally been penned for the Nuremberg rallies), but the monsters are fun when they get to mash it.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Quite enjoyed it, the CGI was good, the acting was a little suspect at times, i wouldn't watch it again but worth it if it's on and you want an easy film in the background

I match referred the first film with all the action scenes between the humans and creatures. The storyline for Skull Island was highly wishy-washy and I found it quite annoying. I thought they could have done without the old army veterans storyline and the resulting post credit.

The production included some great talents including Brie Lawson who just got wasted in this film. I didn't care for Tom Higgiltypigelston and his eyebrow either. He was supposed to be the action/saviour type hero. I saw him flex his bicep muscle three times while he was fixing the A-Team boat that hardly sailed anywhere, and that was about it. He was literally all talk and no action.

a very mediocre film. it had the potential to be very very good. I would've liked Tom Hiddleston to play a more prominent part. not a bad way to spend an evening I suppose.
