We are very excited to have a few tickets to **Great Train Robbery** at the Greenwich Theatre this Tuesday and Wednesday

Great Train Robbery

In the early hours of Thursday 8th August 1963, the heist of the century was under way. Whilst the world was tucked up in bed, 15 men put a finger up to the government and stole 2 million British pounds from Her Majesty's Royal Mail train. Five days later the first clues were found, the gang was busted and the rest is history. But what about the ones that got away...?

We are delighted to have a few tickets to a new show at Greenwich Theatre - Nel - which starts tonight.
About the Play:

Meet Nel: a foley artist. Don’t know what that is? Don’t worry, not many do. Nel brings films to life through sound. In her world, screeching tyres are made from hot water bottles and epic fight scenes are a symphony of snapping celery and frozen cabbages. Nel is good at this stuff – it’s the rest of her life that’s a disaster...

For the first time, she finds herself completely alone. Her cat’s died and she accidentally poisoned her fish. She needs a friend and perhaps a change of shoes.

But in a world of continuous self-comparison she feels inadequate and finding a friend in today’s world can be more than a little stressful. Using a beautifully crafted mix of live music, onstage foley artistry and physical theatre, Scratchworks presents Nel’s touching story about identity, friendship and what it means to be an introvert.

We are very excited to have a few ADDITIONAL tickets to quirky comic Tape Face as he lands in the West End opening at London’s Garrick Theatre - his unique style of humour must be seen to be believed!

We only have a few tickets and as ever, we really need FEEDBACK as that is why we have the tickets (and of course to showcase the fabulous Garrick Theatre). If you fancy a laugh, hurry as we only have a few tickets for each performance.

Conjuring uproarious laughter by using the most simple of everyday objects and popular songs, Tape Face brings out the inner child through clever and charming humour. Combining every trick in the book from mime and magic to silent film, Tape Face is the enthralling sensation who was likened to a modern-day Charlie Chaplin by Simon Cowell.

Re: 'My cousin Rachel' preview + Q&A....

#1970 Post by youpigirl » Sat Jun 10, 2017 10:04 am

We are delighted to have have a few tickets to a special preview of My Cousin Rachel followed by a Q&A with director Roger Michell on Sunday afternoon in Notting Hill Gate.

After health problems determine that he must spend his winters in warmer climates, Ambrose (Glen), a wealthy landowner and guardian to his orphaned cousin Philip (Claflin), heads to Italy.

Years later, Philip receives a letter from Ambrose announcing that he has fallen in love with and married a distant relation, the eponymous Rachel (Weisz). Soon after, Philip learns that his guardian is dangerously ill, but by the time he arrives in Italy, Ambrose is dead and Rachel has left for England, bound for her deceased husband’s estate in Cornwall.

Racked by suspicion, Philip confronts Rachel, but he too soon finds himself under her beguiling spell. What is she? A femme fatale? A gold-digger? A tease? Thanks to skilled direction and first-rate performances, Roger Michell’s enticing period drama keeps the audience guessing throughout.
