Daddy's Home 2

To stop anyone asking in Free Films.

There is no link for the Sky preview.

You use the Sky app to book tickets so links are meaningless.

On a positive note it was good to see a few of the Manchester FMUK gang last night

I seem to remember quite enjoying the first film, but this much less fun. Not much of a story, even for a big budget modern comedy like this, just a series of scenes of bickering and slapstick that could have been shown in any order such was the impact on the characters and plot before the inevitable unearned heartwarming finale

You can overlook all this if you're laughing, but unfortunately I never went above a mild chuckle 4/10 (a point per chuckle)

Watch The Great Outdoors with John Candy and Dan Akroyd. Similar premise but a by far superior film

It was much better than I expected. Heartwarming and funny. Good cast again with the addition of Mel Gibson and John Lithgow. Really good chemistry between all the cast.

I personally think this is better than the first for good family entertainment. I liked it.

7/10

Funnier than expected, but pretty cheesy and then bordering on total cringe towards the end. I completely agree with the above comment from Steve re "see great outdoors-far superior", had the same thought when I was watching too! 5/10

Fantastic film!

I saw the first one which was great so I has high expectations for the sequel, and I was not disappointed.

The entire cast was superb. The chemistry between will farrell and mark walhberg fabulous as ever. It was great to see Mel Hobson and john lithgow enhance the comedy.

With laugh-out-loud moments throughout the whole film and a heartwarming musical ending, this is a wonderful family film to get you in the festive spirit.

It's okay. The kind of film you watch on a C5 on Sunday afternoon.

I'm not been hearing great things and I have been looking forward to it because I love John Lithgow! Now need to decide if it worth cinema time or wait for VOD.

I enjoyed this and it was funny throughout. Yes its cringey at points and farcical in others but it's also a lot of fun. I'd recommend to anyone wanting a laugh

I went to see this as I was looking for something cheerful and I wasn't disappointed. Good fun film . . .predictable on the whole but still a film to put you in the Christmas mood. I've just realised that the Christmas films are really early this year as the release of Star Wars will swamp all the cinemas leaving little room for Christmas films.
