I quite enjoyed Del Toro’s Hellboy films but this one is awful & worst film I’ve seen in a while. Not sure why this is even being remade?!
It has no character it’s just loud brainless action trash. David Harbour does ok, but rest is a complete mess, another CGI fest, sort of film that would be directed by Michael Bay, McG or Zak Snyder. Avoid.

looks good but dialog/acting a bit desperate
main character looked shoddy half the time and charisma was sparse
two credit scenes
at least it was a 15 certificate
