Saw this yesterday in the half-full Covent Garden Odeon. Got there at about 10am. About 10 minutes later this guy on his own comes in and plops himself right next to me. My mate and I were totally taken aback by that. To say there were loads of seats he could have taken would be an understatement. Turns out, he was a mouth-breather too. Loved hearing that throughout the movie.

As for the movie itself, I'm just glad it was over when it was, and even then it wasn't soon enough. Horrible dialogue, horrible delivery, horrible casting. EVen if the film is aimed at children, make some kinda effort, Night. I cannot believe Aasif Mandvi was cast in such a large role. Sorry, but being a Daily Show correspondent does not make one an actor, as was very well proven here. This was also easily the worst 3D film I've seen. It was utterly pointless and is no more than a desperate attempt to squeeze as much money juice out of this turd as possible. Had I pa*d for that, I'd be asking for my money back.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

My first free movie of 2010 so maybe that made me more excited to see this film than I otherwise would have been. Yes it was generally like a bad kids tv show with more special effects but it wasn't so awful I was cringing or falling asleep. For having to get up early on a Sunday morning and persuade my unenthusiastic bf to come with, I wasn't too disappointed that I made the effort, but it's nothing special and I'm glad I didn't p*y! 5/10

I had something just as bad at the Odeon Covent Garden. A teenage girl behind me was telling her friends the entire plot, a couple of minutes before the film was due to start. I ended up putting my mp3 player on to drown her out.

Saw this at Covent Garden Odeon - got there just before 10am but they were letting people in already. The film started 10 minutes late, so that the people in our row asked what time the film started, whether it was 11am rather than 10.30am. I suppose they were waiting for the cinema to fill up as it was only about 30% full. Can't believe I missed you, ucakpam with so few people, and kevinknapman where were you sitting, hope to say hi next time!

The film was very slow, the action very tame, and the script was just awful. The acting was not that good either, and the 3D did not add anything. Unfortunately, I felt like I have seen it all before from the use of tai chi, the fire ball throwing, the form of transport through the air, even getting advice from a certain spirit, all dare I say, copied from other films and TV series? However, saying that, it was quite enjoyable, as it was not too taxing and I had not expected much. It was easy viewing on a Sunday morning and got me out of bed! My friend's teenage boys did not like it, found it boring! My other friend loved it and preferred it to The Sorcerer's Apprentice. So a very mixed bag of opinions. 6/10

Wow, I can't believe that I didn't spot you. I looked around and didn't see any familiar faces. We went in at around 10:10am. My bf and I were sitting in the last row of the premier seats.

I was in the very middle (always a must for a 3D film) of the row behind the Premier seats.

I have no idea where the premier seats are.

Yes, totally agree need to be right in the middle for a 3D. The end of the back row on the lefthand side is actually in the middle. My friends and I sat on the four seats bang in the middle. It is a strange layout at covent garden odeon.

Took my child to see it yesterday. He said liked it but I couldn't wait for the film to end! I was thinking of golden Compass, Prince Caspian and Prince of Persia, while watching it. But I enjoyed all 3 mentioned above much more then the last airbender....This one almost send me to sleep! .Close to the end my child asked if the boy is going to learn the earth skills next, i answered "Probably" and thought (HOPE, NOT NOW!!!) 3D was in place for us, nice scenery, some nice effects, a lot of bad actors, and a bit slow in action?. :undecided: ... I liked the big flying furry thing and the lemurs - cute! :p I haven't read the reviews beforehand, so I went with high expectations :P , my mistake....
