I echo Ethan comments. 80s were great for both films and music but its probably because we grew up in that decade? There is only one or 2 films of the last decade in my 20ish all time favourite movies. Toy Story 3 from this year is one of them. The rest are films spanning 9 decades from 1900s to the 90s.

Did anyone ever go on the Back to the Furture ride at Universal Studios in Orlando? It was mind blowing in its day, the greatest hydraulic cinema ride in the world (until Spiderman attraction came along). Pity, its no longer there now, its tragic!

My Favourite lines:

"You are my density"
"Milk...Chocolate"
"1.21 GIGAWAT, 1.21 GIGAWAT!"
"We're sending you back to the FUTURE!"
"Perhaps you were adopted"

oh cant wait for october...!
My film reviews here . ......My FMUK 2014 ratings.......My FMUK 2011 ratings.......My FMUK 2013 ratings . ......My FMUK 2012 ratings .

Am going to see a special screening of Back To The Future tonight at the Empire Leicester Square. I cannot tell you how excited I am. I don't think I have been this happy this year!!!!!
Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.

Wow, it's popular isn't it. Yes it's a classic, but I am sticking to my guns and going to the Runaways tonight.
I have an affinity for average films recently...lol

A classic and real favourite of mine. Very jealous of anyone who got tickets for tonight.

Can't help but watch it anytime it is on TV, must have seen it dozens of times. And will be there at the cinema when it's released, might even have to p*y!!!

Think today's blockbusters could learn a big lesson from BTTF, the fun, story, characters and excitement continue to live on long after the effects start to show their age. Plus at the heart of it all is a genuinely believably friendship between Doc and Marty to root for, not just Shia or Megan type cutouts. And, can't help but feel that Michael J Fox's illness gives his films, especially BTTF3 a real added poignancy. His book Lucky Man is well worth reading.

On a lighter note, search youtube for Brokeback to the future for an affectionate spoof.

ps. BTTF is a 10/10 of course. o/
