After some Googling, I finally understood what Brazilian blow dry is about!!! I know it by a different name, "rebonding" and in fact I had it done just before I flew over :p Took me five hours at the hairdresser's. I was told not to wash, tie or tuck my hair behind my ears for a week!!! I did though, after 4 days... :red:

Was it the same for you a_person?

Yeh but she said 4 days dem. I'll have to wash it before a week. It's going to bug me otherwise plus I'm due to go to a wedding on Saturday.... Can't be looking greasy.... :shifty:

Lol, that's exactly why I washed mine, I can't go out looking all grunge! Though I'm wondering if I had left it longer, would it have looked better, because it doesn't look poker straight now :cry:

Neither does mine and it's only been a day. I did notice that they didn't cover every strand which kind of irritated me cos now some parts are really straight but the other parts are lifeless like it used to be. I guess I'll really see the results once I wash my hair but now it's getting greasy, my heads itching, I'm not sure I can push it to a second day. :noo:

Remember not to use Sodium Chloride shampoos though dem cos that's just gonna get rid of the keratin. I b*ght my shampoo from them there and then and it was £9.95 and I was like yeh yeh at the time as I was in a rush to get out and only realised afterwards £9.95 for a f*king shampoo! :eek:

I love it how everyone censors their own bad language even though we haven't got the swear word filter switched on!

For £9.95 I would have b*ght the ionic hairdryer. Would recommend ionic hairdryers to save the hours and costs! Really works, for fuller body, shinier hair! And quicker drying, so saves electricity costs and thus environmentally friendly! o/

Oh crikey. I'm glad that's been cleared up :giggle: I was wondering how you could blow dry a Brazilian :confused: And then I thought, wow, I'm not as adventurous as a_person! :p

Ahem....remind me to turn my brain on one of these days eh? ;)

I'm sure you'll be looking gorgeous for the wedding a_person so don't fret angel! :bighug:
