The Apprentice 2010

#1 Post by soonforgotten » Thu Oct 07, 2010 10:15 am

Was I the only one racing home after the film last night to catch The Apprentice?

I so missed the cringeworthy ridiculousness of this show. As much as it pains me, I'm sure Stuart will be around for quite awhile as he is too annoyingly entertaining to send packing in the first half of the series.

If I wasn't already a veggie, last night's episode certainly would have put me off sausages at the very least. Which reminds me, I need to look up exactly what rusk is. Disgusting.

As an Apprentice aside, for anyone who has never seen this, I highly recommend it:

It's NOT work friendly though, so beware.

I missed half of it so will have to iplayer it later this week. I did however watch You're Fired on BBC2 where the candidates for some reason always come across as lovely humble people in person!

Oh the guys just seemed over macho and aggressive to me! Can't say that anyone stood out for me but it was only the first show so we probably need more time to get to know the characters.

Yeah, the first show is always less engaging since they're all new and have to develop their characters. I think the last series was pretty forgettable. I hope this time around there's some higher quality entertainment. The series with Simon on the Bouncer and Tre was pretty epic, but it's been rather disappointing since then. Hopefully this year's group of prats will provide loads more schadenfreude.

Yeah, Pantsman was funny and incredibly stupid but that was still a really bland series otherwise.

When do they actually record that? It's obviously not broadcast live, but is it earlier in the day on Wednesday or earlier in the week?

They record on a Monday evening for airing on the Wednesday.
