Following a series of circumstances involving the Eurosausage, the Home Secretary’s drink driving and the Chancellor’s dalliances with a shady lady from Argentina, Minister for Administrative Affairs Jim Hacker finds himself elevated to Number 10 Downing Street without being quite sure how he got there.

This Saturday, start your FREE DVD collection - The Century of Warfare - with your first two DVDs free inside your newspapers. The most comprehensive visual history of war ever compiled, with 26 hours of footage charting the conflicts that have shaped the last 100 years – from both World Wars to the Gulf conflict.
Narrated by Robert Powell, this monumental series uses archive film dating back to 1896, creating an unforgettable record of every major military engagement.
Your first DVD is free inside the newspaper on Saturday. It documents the forces at work at the turn of the 20th century that would bring unprecedented destruction to Europe.
Sunday’s DVD focuses on The Great War and the weapons that governed the way future wars would be fought .
The collection continues from Monday with five more DVDs to pick up at WHSmith high street stores.
