I have 2 tickets for momentum screening but it seems like I may be unable to make it. If my friend wants to go, can he go on my ticket. I have never attended a momentum screening and was wondering if there is a changeofname email addres as with SFF? Does anyone know?

OK, we have a few tickets to give away for our #Catfish screening in London tonight. Who wants 'em? Just RT with #Catfish to win...

Hmm...very interesting. I hadn't read up on the film and just came home and now also read the villagevoice article and glad some people had similar thoughts to me.
To me this film is about as documentary as say Blair Witch Project/Paranormal activity, it is done very cleverly and indeed might be one of the best fake documentaries ever. I was actually going to put a question along those lines at the Q&A afterwards, but lovefilm was having such a lovefest with Nev and the film, I didn't want to spoil the atmosphere.
It felt quite scripted especially towards the 2nd half when the main protagonist meet. If it was filmed like a standard scripted movie, no one would be interested in this. I could just imagine a scene with the filmmakers and Angela, asking her to go along with the "documentary" so they can make the whole thing work. (as Nev said in the Q&A, they are still "friends").
It's an undeniably captivating film, but I am giving it a low 6.5/10 as I feel it might be a little disingenuous and we might have all been fooled (or maybe I am jealous I didn't come up with the idea....haha). It's very watchable though....

Went to the screening tonight in Bolton and was told it's actually on Thursday!! tickets were printed wrong.

Watched The Tourist instead (enjoyed it!) and got vouchers to go see Catfish another time as can't make Thursday.

Went to screening in West India Quay in London this evening, only to get told once in the auditorium they didn't actually have the film....

Yay...

Nice waste of time...

Went to see this in West India Quay tonight and they didn't have the print! Was told that we could watch any other film (except 3D) - but there wasn't anything on that we wanted to see!!

Most disappointing!

My ticket was Momentum and 7 others there had the same one saying 14/12.

The manager said the pack they got said Thursday, but didn't say if they had the reel or not.

Well, I actually went prepared with another ticket for The Next Three Days because my instinct told me that with two preview screenings in one place something was bound to go wrong. I had seen the French version of this film so I was really looking forward to seeing Catfish :( Never mind...
