I really enjoyed this - much better than most of the drivel that has been on the TV lately!

Yesterday I watched Aguirre, Wrath of God; The Longest Day; and 300, in that order. The first I thought was an incredibly unsettling and well-shot film; the second an ambitious and entertaining war classic; the third a slightly campy but undeniably stylish action film.

Last night I watched Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom, with a very youthful Harrison Ford. I still love those films but can't really believe that Harrison is going to make another one.

I've been watching "The Brain: A Secret History" with Dr. Michael Mosley. Fascinating program with some truly incredible experiments.

The OH loves Indiana Jones so we put it on and I put my earplugs in and tried to do something else but my God is that a shouty film! Especially the woman screams the whole time, if I was Harrison Ford I would have bumped her on the head very early on!
