I used AirBerlin once to go to Berlin, and it was fine. Can't remember any problems. I would use them again. Unfortunately, easyjet flights are always delayed on all the easyjet flights I have taken or diverted, may be am just unlucky!

Love Venice and Rome - lucky you a_person! I am sure you will have a great time.

I used Easyjet for the first time last October to go to Amsterdam and there was no problem at all with flight times etc and fantastic value, more money to spend when you get there.

I would love to hear how you get on in Rome as I would like to go this year, along with Paris and another trip to Holland :cross: I will have to be careful with my spending.

Can anyone recommend a nice place to stay in Paris? I love sight seeing and want to do a trip to The Palace of Versailles which looks amazing; I went 5 years ago to Paris with a friend but this time I'm going with my 17 year old daughter so she'll want to do more shopping etc. I haven't booked anything as yet so anytips will be appreciated. My French is rubbish but I can speak enough to get a train ticket, a meal and ask for directions so should be ok getting about.

Thanks so much o/

Which is better? Miami or Las Vegas or New York (weird comparison, I know) and what's a good time to go?

New York is a city I have always wanted to visit as there is so much to see and do. It's got weather extremes though and can become very hot in summer and very cold in winter. I'd say Miami is more evenly temperatured but I am not sure what you do there apart from lie on the beach. Las Vegas should be worth a visit just for being so unbelievably weird and over the top. And what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...

Or you could end up married to a stranger and win £3million dollars together.

New York, lots to see and do, especially shopping; and I guess Miami for sun worshipping, Las Vegas for the shows and gambling! I can't say which is better as I have only been to New York, and loved it. Milkchocmonkey can tell you about Las Vegas as she went not so long ago.

My vote would be New York too, as it has something for everyone (theatre, art, music, shopping, zoo, Central Park)
Miami would be good for sunbathing, though I don't think it has much else going for it.
I skirted right around Las Vegas when I went across America as I have no interest in that kind of full-on place, but each to their own.
