Went to the hospital yesterday afternoon to see if my broken wrist was healing. The good news is it doesn't need a op to get a pin in it but the bad news was that it has moved slightly so can't get a lighter cast put on it yet. Can't fly with a plastered cast on in case wrist swells too much under the cast so would have to get the cast split at the hospital here before flying, then replastered in Cyprus when I arrived, cast split again in Cyprus to fly home and then replastered again the day I get back home!!! Too much fussing by far plus since I had the accident here I would probably have to p*y the medical fees for the hospital in Cyprus.

Hope to book another holiday for March when things are better. :cross:
How frustrating. Hope this heals soon biggins.

Card tricks are the cheapest and more portable, I suppose. What a horrible ending! :X

Sorry to hear about your cancelled holiday biggins. Though you lost some money on cancellation, it's not so bad as you would have had to spend money .

The middle trick was him playing russian roulette with a nail gun on his hands and then Teller's private parts!

DO NOT SHOP AT COMET

#4409 Post by bigboyshanks » Fri Jan 07, 2011 10:59 pm

hi everybody ive just been taken for a ride by comet , i b*ght a jvc 26" dvd/tv for the bedroom .
i resived it on line and went in store to collect , got it home pulled it out of the box to find it came with a transformer .
so it would not look good hanging down the wall , so i took it back and i was told i would be charged a 10% restocking fee .
WOW i asked to speak to the manager who was so rude towards me telling me it states the restocking charges all over the store and on my bill ..... ive wrote/phoned and e-mailed comet with this problem and was told its down to the store to refund me .... so thanks comet ive lost £23 .
