Restocking fees have been going for decades, some internet gadget shops have charged them for returned stock like phones and later smartphones that I know of.
I know of one guy who sells on gadgets he tries out after having them only a few days, simply because if he takes too much stuff back they may not sell to him again, plus the restocking fee means that there's little difference to selling on or taking back. Its his only vice, he has to have the latest gadgets then realises its not for him. About every 2 weeks he has a new smartphone to sell on so he can afford the next one.

no the was nothing about the transformer on the specs and only jvc use a transformer ....... the manager was very rude and would not talk to me about this problem , who reads there bill before you open the box , even tv on show does not show a transformer because all wires are hidden . the store manager even told me to stick it to the back of the tv .... trade in standers say if a item is not fit for purpose then you should recive a full refund ........ no gift card was offered .......

I think I know of the Manager he is notorious for being a twit, he delivered 3 double ovens to me 2 in the back of his car as he said one was faulty and he wasn't sure which one and wanted me to see which one it was Then my friend had to wait 6 months to have a faulty TV sorted out. I don't think he's a full shilling

Right now, a news item is breaking news about a congress woman and 17 other associates have been shot. At first they reported the congress woman as being shot in the head then shortly after Reuter breaks the news that she is dead. Then later it transpires she is citically wounded but not dead. They also reported 6 dead. Later it transpires just 1 is dead that happens to be a child. They also reported one of the 6 dead was a high judge. Later it transpires he is alive.

What the fmuk kind of reporting is this? I was watching through the BBC and they relay the Reuters report, at least they always made it clear its from Reuters. But how heartless for reporters to report people dead when they are not? Just to get the breaking news first, they further devastate family and friends for no reason who are already devastated. Damn. Hope this is just an American thing and in UK have more sensibilities, though BBC should boyott this bloody Reuters News.
