Saw this with Times vouchers this afternoon.

It was a good story and good charachters.

Loved the evil cockatoo voiced by Jermaine from Flight of the Conchords - excellent!

OH got travel sick with the 3D as he thought there was too much movement!

7/10

I saw this at Cineworld Boldon, using my Times voucher. They had obviously had hundreds of people through, as the chap had a stack of them by the till. I was in the largest screen there - possibly seating 500, and there were about 60 of us in total.

I loved the film - it was just what I needed - colourful, vibrant and quite delightful. The music was great, very catchy in places - a little bit of everything. There was just the right amount of humour for me. And for once, I'm not complaining about the 3D - when used, it was effective.

I'm recommending it - 7/10 from me.

I took my friend's little girls on Sunday and they loved it. I still love the monkeys more than anything because that dancing one with the watch round his belly is too funny.

I gave out my spare vouchers in the queue too so hopefully those people enjoyed their freebie film too! Actually... I'm wondering if anyone from here went to the 2pm showing of this at Wandsworth? Because I swear I keep seeing this person at screenings so wonder if it's one of the guys from here so next time I can say hello! He was on his own, has a grey backpack (probably full of popcorn heheh, well i like to think so anyway lol)
