Scotland (or STV) in its infinite wisdom decided not to commission this show, like it did with the last series of Doc Martin and The Bill latterly too!) and so when it became so popular and won awards etc. they have had to rapidly show the first series on Sunday afternoons and just managed to squeeze the last episode in today before the new series statrs tonight. Talk about a blunder. I hope someone got his marching orders for that.

Argh I knew there was something else I'd forgotten, not only is Spooks and Downton on at 9pm, but, Strike Force which I've been watching. Its so annoying 3 things on that I have to watch. I'll be able to do all three but again, have to make the decision which comes first

Why do they keep doing this? I hate having to choose which to watch, which to record and which to miss out on. I'm going now to find out which are repeated during the week - none probably....

If you have Freview then there's ITV+1 and I think Spooks is repeated later in the week about 11.20pm.

What's more annoying is in a couple of months, there will be nothing left until Christmas to watch

I know and I have not seen the first series yet!!! Managed to borrow the DVd of Series one last week but not had the chance to watch it yet!!

Taped Series 2 as had to watch Spooks last night. Lots of shocks there

STV really bad as they did not screen the last two Sharpe features. (One of my favourite series) hence I like spotting all the Sharpe cast in movies. e.e two in TTSS
