Re: Ted
I managed to pick up tickets for this through purehmv. An earlier start than normal so I'll have to take the afternoon of work to make sure I can get there on time. Looking forward to it though, hearing good things.

Re: Ted
We enjoyed this so much! Full of Seth MacFarlane's trademark anarchic humour, loads of nice little touches and great cameos. Would be worth a second watch to catch everything. Highly recommended.

Re: Ted
While a lot of that review is undoubtedly correct, we laughed the whole way through so who cares!

Re: Ted
The DoG review is mostly accurate indeed. I was severely disappoinTED, geddit? No? Ok.
I dunno why, but I figured Family Guy was more the low-rent writing staff than Seth's pure vision. Clearly I was mistaken and American Dad! is lightening in a bottle. I laughed early on. And then the film continued for some 90 more minutes.
Painful stuff.
They make a point to rip on Jack And Jill, but this film also has the false sentiment to suggest heart, racist and homophobic humour, surprisingly misogynistic too, and plenty of terrible slapstick, lame-brain cameos and lazy mean humour.
