Good point! Though they'd surely have been worse off afterwards...

Re: Eating In The Cinema
It's hard fitting in a meal with the 6.30pm films. I normally finish work early, grab a quick cheap Wetherspoons meal and dash to the cinema. However, I always find room for some delicious Haribo sweets! Tangfastics are my favourite. I avoid sweets with wrappers, as I'm paranoid everyone can hear me unwrapping!

I think I have already said on the site how amazed I was when a couple in front of me sat an ate a KFC bucket of chicken!

Re: Eating In The Cinema
I agree with those that have said you need something for those 6.30pm showings because it is impossible for us to fit a meal in beforehand. That having been said - I find it very annoying to be sitting near those who are munching through sandwiches, crisps & burgers etc. - so gross and smelly too!
We stick to a jumbo bag of sweets and large coffees - the former of which we will have b*ght at Tesco in anticipation of the next free film and the latter from Starbucks or somewhere just before going into the screening.
Chocolate covered popcorn?? Not sure - but I would try anything once - especially with chocolate involved!

Re: Eating In The Cinema
Maybe if cinemas (a) sold healthier food and (b) charged more reasonable prices, they would sell more? Obviously they couldn't cope with fresh fruit but why not sandwiches in those plastic packs? And/or chilled milk shake? They already have chillers and fridges. Healthier food would also be less noisy/messy/smelly, which are my objections. Do they sell anything which isn't high in fat and sugar or both? Even if I wanted anything they sold (e.g. chocolate), I wouldn't p*y their rip-off prices.
