Saw the trailer today and thought it might be OK - until it got to the sci-fi part. Oh dear!

I don't know, Raj - anything resembling an episode from Star Trek, Dr Who, etc, is instant alienation for me.

Currently reading the book and am at the "sci fi" bit, really intrigued! Fingers crossed I finish it before seeing the film (I keep reading it in chunks as I often receive review books in the post that have priority).

Was wondering the running time as I knew it was going to be longish. 172 minutes! Unless you are in China and then it's 38 minutes shorter.

Indeed so.

Removed from the original are glimpses of nudity, as well as a
brief scene involving a cyborg waitress in a cafe in 22nd century Korea having sex with her supervisor.
http://www.tastecard.co.uk/tasteblog/30 ... screenings
You do need to bring a copy of this page as stated in the terms and conditions. As stated before , If they do not ask for it , do not show it!

You can print out whatever you want if that makes you feel better but as the Tastecard codes weren't the only ones for the screenings, this is an unenforceable request that I am confident enough you can ignore.

Like beate says there are a couple of codes so its not just tastecard who are promoting this preview. So you could had got your ticket from the other promoter? Plus if they did insist I will probably show the link you given on my smartphone as its online.
