Thoroughly agree with EthanRunt! (would it be the first time this year?)

Really enjoyed this, but fell into the trap they set for the audience. Actually had it figured out for a second, but dismissed it for reasons that escape me. Really quite liked this.

It is really too hot today to do much so we went for a very quick bite at the Taperia after Wadjda then shot back into the Greenwich Picturehouse for a showing of Now You See me. I was wondering whether a special trick was to hide the audience ("Now You Don't"-style) as we only saw 6 other people (SIX) and not one wanted to share the back row with us or indeed one of the very popular two back rows. I certainly didn't mind this as it made for a very quiet and undisturbed screening.

We loved it. It's a solid thriller with enough magic tricks and twists to keep you entertained throughout, and while I guessed one or two of them, the big final one was one that hadn't entered my mind even though I had suspected just about everyone else.

Great actors, great visuals, solid entertainment. Not bullshit.

I thought this was fab. Think I was caught up in all the magic. Favourite film of the year so far. Highly recommend.

Saw this yesterday and really enjoyed it. Good entertainment. Good acting. A solid film with great tricks . . .
Good red herrings. Great ending!
Well worth a viewing . . . even if you've to use a voucher or (washing my mouth with soap) p*y!
Marks 8.5/10 o/
