Still trying to sort myself out and figure out if I can take time for breaks. All depends on how much work I get done in the next week or so. Will let you know soon. xx

Is this picnic definitely still going ahead? I'm just planning my 2 days in London so want to make the most of it.

No one is replying! If push comes to shove, there'll be a great picnic for the 4 of us at least...

If Bank Holiday Monday is better for people, that's fine by me too, especially as there will be a PH preview on Sunday morning.

Ok, Avisute and Andrew.Falconer confirmed too.
I suggested meeting at 2pm just inside St Mary's Gate (where the benches are) which is the gate coming from Maritime Greenwich but if not everyone can come at the same time we ought to fix where we are settling down for the picnic. For OH's sake it should be close to loos, so having studied the map: http://www.royalparks.org.uk/__document ... sh_map.pdf
I suggest close to The Queen's Orchard in the north-eastern corner? There's also a cafe there if anyone fancies a hot drink.

Re: FMUK Picnic in the Park - Greenwich 26th August
I can't find my picnic blanket. Which means I have to turn our flat upside down at the weekend.
Can people please say what they'll be bringing so I don't bring stuff others might? I would be particularly happy if someone could bring plastic cutlery and plastic cups as I can't find these either.
It's really time I sorted the flat out - it's a mess.

Sorry, have not been on here too much lately, been too, too busy, mostly with mum stuffBeate wrote:Prettyxcool confirmed too now, making it 9 people to date.
Looking forward to picnic in the park. I have a busy weekend, but will bring a blanket, some food if I have managed to cook any, time permitting (I am thinking of fried chicken for meat eaters, stir fried noodles for vegetarians, and may be a tuna and sweetcorn pasta salad?), and some fruit!
