BettyBoop wrote:"Who will love my children" this one is a total tear jerker from start to end! just so sad...Ive never cried so much in all my life!
OMG this was so sad i only saw it once years ago (approx a decade) and it still hurts my heart to think about it now! I am such a softie!
I agree it's the biggest weepie ever! I can't even talk about that film without starting to cry.

Great call, I'll always remember me and my mum watching it when I was about 7 both in floods of tear.

And of course you'd have to be made of stone not to cry at Up.

Inconsistent, maybe, but whilst I'm quite happy to see a film which makes me laugh out loud (if only it happened more often) and which aims for that effect, I feel much more equivocal about one which might have the opposite effect. Why do I not mind someone trying to make me laugh but feel manipulated if they try to make me cry? And isn't it a bit embarrassing to be moved to tears in public? OK, you're in the cinema, in the dark and possibly alone or mainly with strangers, but what are you supposed to do at the end? Rush for the loo and regain your composure, wait until eveyone else has gone, so no-one can see that your stiff upper lip wobbled a bit, or what?

I'm not a fan of weepie, so I do try to avoid them but have to say Hghlander was an amazing film and I have to admit make my throat aches where I hold back the tears :tears:

Poor Heather at Kurgan hands gets me every time…. one of my favourite films...but don't get me started on Highland 2 to 37  boy if ever there was a time to not make a remake that's a classic example 8O

The Green Mile, I was an emotional wreck :crying: I could never re watch this!
Many films have moved me to tears, and it doesn't bother me at all crying in public as my friends I go with are just as bad.
I love beautiful films that bring a tear to your eyes.

The Notebook made me cry, also this film called My Dog Skip for some reason a lot of the time animal deaths effect me more than people's do, when i was younger a lot of Disney films (Bambi, Lion King, The Fox and the Hound) used to make me cry, i'm not sure they would have the same effect now though.
