You might want to avoid 21st March as that is when Scotland hosts Ireland in the last six nation game and i be more likely working it

I wish I could join you all but I think Yinster's wedding was the last time OH and I will have stayed somewhere else, not counting the Vitalise holidays. It's simply too much of a trek for us now, and his incontinence isn't helping. Sorry guys, we'll make the next London one! (Unless FMUKCON is now touring Britain and that will be years down the line!)

TheyCallMeMrGlass wrote:As far as dates are concerned, aren't the polls available as a multiple choice? Because the best way to choose a date is for everyone to give all possible dates they can attend rather than having to actually choose one date only. I know there is an any date option but that wont help choose the date that the most people can attend because there may be one date some cant attend but can attend others. I hope that makes sense...but if the polls cannot be multiple choice then so be it.
Good point MrGlass. I will change it tomorrow to give people chance to realise what I am doing so they can re vote and the most popular day it is. Would the end of June be too early to set the date? Purely for booking purposes as I know that some flights have been released already for next year and we want to keep the prices as affordable as possible for as many as we can.

Your telescope skills were excellent as we all had a fabulous evening in Glossop o/

Hotels will be very busy then and so will the whole area around Murrayfield and the Haymarket railway station. You might not get into the Tune hotel on that weekend.

I'll delete that one off the list and will update the vote later as per MrGlass's post. Thanks for letting us know as I wouldn't have a clue. I am purely getting the ball rolling not taking over (I can't help myself MrGlass - I think I have an addiction to organising disorder :giggle: ).

At this moment in time, I can attend any of these dates. The sooner we make a decision, the better, because then we can start looking for hotel deals. I love Edinburgh - one of my favourite cities.

Since you have got ball rolling Diane has got me thinking of venues we can use for the actual meet. Also as mrglass is potentially staging in NORTH Queensferry. There are a few lovely restaurants in SOUTH Queensferry for either night before or

I can't do the 11th April and I agree that going on the 21st March is not a good idea.

I've voted for the 18th but the other date is good as well.

The weather maybe kinder to us on the 18th April - just a thought.
