And why oh why did they take those little girls down to the pond to feed the ducks at such a time??????
Agreed on the ducks ! This was the action equivalent of going down to the woods at 3am when there's a maniac on the loose in horror films.

Because they didn't want them at the house when the police turn up. Also they didn't know about the professional hitman was about.

Back from Glasgow. It was alright. Not great but not awful. However it did feel all night. 5/10

Yes there were a few holes but overall it didn't bother me so much, since from beginning to end it kept the suspense for me and did not seem to be the 114 minutes that it was.
The cast were excellent-, in particular Ed Harris, Vincent D'Onofrio and Common (whose was interesting as a baddy).
Definite 8/10
What Rawsala said o/ I actually enjoyed a lot more than I thought I would. There were some funny in jokes

I think it was at least aiming a little higher than the average action film, the main character haunted by all the bad things he's done was very Unforgiven - though obviously not as good - and some great actors made the whole thing very watchable.

Gritty, tense and enthralling. Has Neeson stamped all over it. Have forgotten its name already though. Might as well have been Taken 4. Not that there would be anything wrong with that.
Stayed awake throughout, so that's a bonus. Definitely enjoyed.

This was utter shit.
At one point I asked my friend if we could leave, and she said no because she could catch up on some sleep.
Didnt connect with the characters at all, the action was few and far between, felt no sympathy for anyone, the only good thing, was that sylistically it was well done.
So for that its getting a 1.

This was clearly an attempt to cash in on the success of Taken, even though its not the same lead character at all.

But all it boils down to is another poor mans version of that movie. Neeson needs another The Grey, and fast.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Is Liam Neeson becoming the new Charles Bronson?

I can't find his name listed not even as uncredited but was that Nick Nolte as his father?
