I've b*ght a policy, registered with a password and downloaded app onto my phone BUT it seems that nothing is happening. When I touch the app, it doesn't react.

I'll try again later and maybe delete and reinstall the app.

Edit

Finally got it to work but what a phaff entering all the qualifying info. I'll never remember all that if I'm out and away from computer!
Have my code though and if cinema buddy buys the same policy, we can see two films. So maybe not so bad after all.

Fingers :cross: crossed for you.
I was amazed at how smoothly it all went for me - not what usually happens!

When you get to enter the policy number, use the six figure number that is part of the long number.

I originally entered the whole number and then just the last part. Wish they made that clearer.
We are all going to look silly standing in cinemas shaking our phones to reveal the code :bwl:

Cheers, all. I shall give it a shot then! For less than £2, can't really lose!

Won't we have to do this for each week we want a code?
I wonder if it is the cheapest qualifying option after all?

That's what I was wondering, The Sparrow . . . or will it need to be an annual policy?

I guess we'll find out after the codes have been used.

I just b*ght a travel insurance policy and went to download the app....only to discover that my dear friend iPhone 3GS is too old to be able to download it, as it requires a phone from 5 upwards with Ios7 installed. That's not very nice.

I was able to download it to the iPad instead, so I have been able to get a code, but I don't know whether I will be able to write the code down and present it to the cinema cashier or if you're supposed to show them the code on your actual phone. My local cinema is in a basement with no signal anyway, so that probably wouldn't even have been possible.

Oh well, we shall see what happens.

It says in the FAQS that if you don't have a smart phone you can either print it out or copy the code out to present in cinema.

Ah, thank you. My local cinema has also now confirmed that this is the case, and that they will be running the promotion even tough they don't come up in the list of available cinemas in the app.
Good news.
