I'd lost the will to live by the end, maybe John Goodman had taken the part thinking it was comedy lolstuartboy wrote:Anyone else think John Goodman (I thought he was dead) seemed to have read his lines off an autocue? Everything was delivered without any feeling or acting.
Anyone spot that Steve Martin was the voice of the dog narrator (before seeing in the credits)?

I didn't think it was that bad, but then again I was laughing at jokes the rest of the audience completely missed.

I didn't think it was that bad either. Diane Keaton was pretty annoying. John Goodman should have shoved her on her own a long way on that blow up sledge.
It really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
Screen in Edinburgh was huge half empty and had no heating!

I think we could include ploggit too so we now have a club of 4!
Don't know why they changed the title for us in the UK as it was called Love The Coopers in the US
Not great but didn't think that it was as bad as some of the reviews are making out, really liked Olivia Wilde.

I saw the trailer last night, and it looked funny! Or is that all the good bits?

Re: Christmas with the Coopers
I think that's what the makers want you to think but I'm afraid that it's not that funny. It's more of a family drama with a few halfhearted laughs chucked in.prettyxcool wrote:I saw the trailer last night, and it looked funny! Or is that all the good bits?
