But isn't it also unusual that this is a film for which there have already been other, "normal" codes? So maybe fewer members trying to book for Times screenings? I for one am very glad not to have to jump through those hoops...

Next Tuesday this film clashes with Julie and Julia so if you want to see both you will need to be looking at the monday screenings of J & J or thursday this week.
Or maybe the sunday screenings of away we go.

A lot of planning is required for these movies and some of the later codes still have free seats.

Saw this at West India Quay, not even 50% full. Two people seemed to come in about 10 minutes from the end, I can only assume that they were there for the film coming on afterwards.

As to the film itself, I found it all a bit arty-farty. There were a couple of funny bits, his parents at the start, and the fruit cake "cousin" and her family, but was quite bored by the end. No more than 6/10.

I saw this film this evening. The cinema was only half full, which is surprising as the tickets went really quickly as normal. There were some really funny parts and it was a nice story, but rather a simple story. My husband found it quite boring, although I had to point out that he did laugh on several occasions!

We saw this at Cineworld, Haymarket. The cinema was pretty full and it's an odd shape and the screen is actually at a slight angle -- another carved up cinema. We enjoyed the film. It's a nice story, very funny at times and there are a lot of strange characters which make you like the two leads even more. Look out for Alison Janney (CJ from the West Wing). She is hilarious -- crass, crude and totally unlike what we expect from her. We were glad to see this after the awful "Bustin' Down the Door" Imax cinema fiasco of Sunday. We are still recovering from that!

OH and I saw this at Cineworld, Haymarket, too (swapped my Crawley tickets for London when I found out OH had a meeting there). I was really hoping it wouldn't be in the weird-shaped grotty dungeon, but of course, when I asked, it was. Ejwrank has summed it up really well above, though in a nutshell I'd say "pleasant but pointless". Yes, the "minor" characters overshadowed the leads at times, but they were too OTT to be credible, amusing as they were. I did enjoy the "stroller" scene. It seemed longer than it was, so maybe it was a bit slow.
