I always think a good Doctor Who should always be a charismatic weird looking fella. Ecclestone had the ears, Tennant had the popping eyes and Smith...well, the whole damn face...even better! Tennant to me was always a bit too good looking but his wild Doc Brownish eyes and zany charisma compensated big time.

Nice blog aybg, Keep it up o/

Not sure why some reviews are dissing on the credit sequence, I really dug it. OK the logo has changed for the slightly worse but they wanted a change but the added drum roll beats made it funky for a funkier new doctor, the lightning bolts striking the Tardis all had me bopping on my sofa already. And the retro interior and the Doctor's old england outfit nicely rounds off a pretty cool start to the new adventures of Dr Who and his sexy assistant.

Not that impressed I am afraid :(

Will need to watch it again and see if I can get into it. Know this is a hard act to follow and I did have visitors when it was on so perhaps not wearing my Doc Who head when watching it but to be honest was disappointed. Think it might have something to do with his appearance on Jonathon Ross when Matt did not appear to follow John talking about John Smith and thought this was pretty off, he should have watched the earlier episodes especially when he seemed to be saying her waa a fan!! He came over to me like the great "I am"

Will watch it again and see if it improves, :cross: otherwise will just have to watch another few episodes and hope he grows on me.

Dont want to change the habit of a lifetime watching Quack Who

I missed the first episode, which some of my family and friends told me was terrific. I caught the second episode and thought it was OK. I don't think that the new Doctor is so different from the previous one. Time will tell, as he develops the character and adds his own little idiosyncrasies. Tuning in later tonight because the Daleks are on! o/

I don't think last nights episode was as good as the first, but i am really looking forward to the 4 speshul "Interactive episodes" ^^ . Matt Smith is definetly not been a let down, and I'm really looking forward to see what Steven Moffat comes up with.

Also, leave poor Matt alone, who cares about his face with that Smexy haircut
Image
