to me, it felt that as he rescued here at say midnight and then was waiting for the 3am meet up, the Governor found out the house was hit, and then got his goons to talkt to the father kil plus kill him by that old "he jumped off a building"... got the info about the meet at 3am inthe motel, plus the fixers details who then gave up the middle man/bodega shp who had his mothers details or summing, i think his vision of the father in the house was just how messed up he is, like the gun to the head vision at the end,
