HUH? It starts on Sunday 24th @ 9pm. You seem to be jumping the gun somewhat.
I know- but i've got an uncle who's got fox- so he's gonna record it- and then i go over to his and watch it!

But you didn't let us in on that secret. How does he have fox? What kind of satelite does he have?

I don't have a clue how he has it-
He started telling my Dad once but the conversation was full of techno-language so I didn't make much out.
I asked my dad when I got home- but he seemed as clueless as me.

You could always watch it on the internet- I had a quick look about and ninjavideo.net put it online less than a day after it aired in america and in very good quality too.

That's how a lot of people are watching it these days. rather than waiting a few days to watch it on sky they either watch online or download it. It used to be that some series would be 16 or more episodes ahead (lost,24 etc) but now sky have to try and release around the same time as the usa to keep the viewers. I work with a guy who is up to episode 12 or something silly like that of Glee whereas over here I think it's episode 3 or 4.
Not sure how he could have managed to get past the first epsiode IMO.
Back on topic. 24 is a bit of a slow burner this one, hope it picks up. Not sure if I like New York or New CTU, but my wife likes Freddie Prinze Jr so she's happy.

Well, what do we all think of 24: Day 8?

Answer: It's great! o/

It's the usual, isn't it, and we all know that Jack Bauer will come through and save the day, and hopefully dispatch a few baddies along the way. I don't like the road Dana is going down - (Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica) - she's in big trouble. As is Renee, but that goes without saying - she has turned into a homicidal loose cannon if ever there was one. I hope the foreign President and his brother get their comeuppance - they are equally odious. Still waiting for other characters to develop, and I long for Chloe's genius and loyalty to be recognised. Roll on Sunday night -sad girl that I am.

I'm loving this so far, I saved up a few episodes and watched them altogether, its so good. I like the new characters like Cole and Dana, but not sure on Hastings, he doesn't seem very good at his job and every time I see the foreign president I think of Slumdog Millionaire!!!!

Time may have run out for ‘24’ the TV show, but Kiefer Sutherland admits he is “very excited” about bringing Jack Bauer to the big screen.

Sutherland has always stated that there will only be a ‘24’ film when the TV show came to an end. And a script is currently being written following 20th Century Fox’s confirmation that the show’s eighth season will be its last.
And Sutherland admits that he can’t wait to make a ‘24’ movie. (And I can't wait to see it! o/ )

He told Variety, “I'm very excited about the idea (of a movie). I'm very excited about the opportunity, and singularly because it's a two-hour representation of a 24-hour day. So for the first time, it will be very feasible in this 24 hours to go from England to Russia, or from China to Japan, depending on where they choose to set it.

"Before on the TV show, the crisis had to come to us, because the best we could do was get across town. And the two times we ever put Jack Bauer in a plane, it just didn't work. So it alleviates a huge hurdle that real time writing presented for us.

“He (executive producer Howard Gordon) and I both felt that the opportunity of making a movie, and doing a two-hour representation of a 24-hour day - which would not be restricted by time - was something that was appealing to he and I both."
