For Kick-Ass fans, you might recognise Clark Duke, who played one of the protagonist's friends. It's great to see him in a starring role - he's fantastic with real-life best friend Michael Cera in their web series.

I was shocked to realise last week that I've been going to free film previews since the late 80's. Over 20 years! Where did all the time go?!?
Those were the days when I mostly relied on Time Out for film preview tickets. Which generally meant a lot of art house movies. Now they give away tickets to films like 'Hot Tub Time Machine'. Very odd.

Agreed, was disappointed by him in both Kick-Ass and Sex Drive, but this and Clark and Michael show he is funny.

"You spin me round (like a record)" from Dead or Alive.
I was a kid during the 80s. I guess that's why I think it was a long time ago.
I remember dancing to it at Pips in Manchester with very big hair, quite similar to Pete Burns  I think I've still got the record in the loft lol

Since Time Out have sent out a 2nd e-mail, does that mean it's OK to enter twice? That would seem to be the implication, so I did, but hope the T & C (which I didn't check) don't disallow this. I've now had 2 at home and there's probably a 2nd one waiting at work, too. Time Out also has more venues than did the SFF code, so unless other SFF locations follow, for some people Time Out is the only opportunity.

I just read on the Total Film forum (where people are complaining about tickets for this going too fast) that they will now be releasing the code on the forum before they send out the newsletter.

Edit - It has just been pointed out to me that I put this on the wrong thread - It should have been on the Bad Lieutenant thread.

Crumbs, I never look at Total Film's site - mostly I don't even read the weekly e-mail because if it does have a code, someone will already have posted it. Don't think I have time to check yet another site!

Not sure that will make a difference. Somebody will see the code on the Total Film forum and post in on here straight away, just as quickly as they would with the code in the email.

Shouldn't this discussion be in the 'Bad Lieutenant' thread. Seeing as that was the film that was being referred to on the Total Film forum.
