That's actually my ipod valda! Send it over!!!! Grrrrr

:giggle: Just kidding, of course. I'm certain you've won a prize (it was addressed to YOU) so CONGRATULATIONS!!!

As to what you're gonna do with the pretty little thing I suggest you get some itunes credit (I think there was a cheap deal at clintons recently? Or was it morrisons? someone help me out if you know what I'm on about). Itunes is simple and easy to use quite frankly (you'll have to download the software to your computer - its a big file which will probably come packaged with some additional software like Bonjour and Quicktime - decide if you need them or not - waste of space in my humble opinion). You will need a credit card to set up an itunes account but if you do this, it makes synching/b*ying music very easy.

If you're not a fan of itunes (yep, there are lots of people out there who hate it for various reasons), I'd recommend mediamonkey - its great if you have a big library of music/audiobooks/tvshows/dvds, brill for tagging/sorting and easy to add mp3's to your ipod. Itunes prefers the m4a or mp4 files. (someone correct me if my info is wrong, please). You can rip the music from your CD collection and, dare I say it :giggle: cassettes you may have collected over the years. Yes, even Chesney Hawkes if you must! :giggle: j/k ;)

Hope this helps ya somewhat. o/ Ask if you have any questions or just wanna know my address so you can send my ipod over ;)

So go ahead and enjoy your prize! Congratulations once again. o/

thnks Sb, I have mediamonkey, but didn't realise I could use it with an Ipod. I tend to go for Creative Zen for my MP3 players.
As to cassettes and videos, I was brave and chucked the lot, without even lookin to see what was on them. I figured I'd not listened or watched them for years so get rid.
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks
