So glad someone posted on Torchwood.

Absolutely lovin it!!

Have watched every episode of Torchwood as, as some of you know I love Doctor Who too!

Good thing with this series is that it is a continuing story and such a good idea having it on five nights in a row. Have hardly been on the board as working late and been out and then watching this as soon as I got in.

Dont really think it is to do with John Barrowman being gay, is it not to do with Russell Davies, this series and the Adventures of Sarah Jane have been his babies whereas he was really just picking up Doctor Who as an existing series, so he had a blank canvas for this show.

Dont think tonight will be let down, will be sitting on the edge of my chair - without the red medicine - will have that later as need to have my wits about me to watch it.

ENJOY :D :D

One of my favourite movies is Dog Day Afternoon. The lead character is gay and robbing a bank to get money for his boyfriends sex change operation. This doesn't bother me in the slightest
Have to agree loved this film, it was great the way the gay community came together to support Sonny/ Al Pacino and leon/Chris Sarandon. Also loved the fact it was a true story.

Sorry its not Torchwood but need to catch up on it :D

Touchwood was so good enjoyed the whole 5 shows glad it has got on BBC1 for a change. Been a right treat had to watch! i had too watch the two final ones lastnight, did not see the outcome coming how sad. Was disapointed in what he did :( is Tourchwood coming back on again? It was the only spin off thing that didn't have some element of Dr Who (well David Tennent) before he leaves.

Right, I watched it on the iplayer now and the story is complete rubbish but it's hugely entertaining and I have a bit of a crush on John Barrowman now! I could watch him swan around in his army coat the whole day and not care about the storyline!

that's good Beate because Torchwood is def coming back. :D

Let's hope I like the ending of the next one better, but suppose on replection he did something bad and there was payback. Suppose that was the round about moral to it all

Not sure when its coming back, know lots of people on the Torchwood website seem to think that was the finale but been reading the interviews Russell davies gave lately and this is def his baby and more things planned.

So we will have to wait and see who is in it and where it is based.

Crying my little eyes red raw to episode 5 - having to choose between garndson & all those children was just heart breaking.

Ending was a let down for me because I love happy endings....Was dying for the grandson to have Jacks powers and come back to life! especially when this was already hinted at when his daughter and the boy were initially arrested!!

yep, think we all thought the same, but Capt Jack is an anomoly in time, so that was never going to be the case.

Dr Who is still supposed to be Childrens' TV but Torchwood is for adults and as we all know life is full of ' not happy endings'

Can't wait for Torchwood and Dr Who to come back...............
